SUMMARY:CRUSADER IX - Battle of the Armies
DESCRIPTION:The continuing series for supremecy \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOperation Crusader IX – Battle of the Three Armies \n\n\n\nWelcome to Crusader IX. Thank you for being part of CZ Airsoft History. \n\n\n\nYou have been called up and recruited to be part of one of three armies that are competing for territory dominance. Your army will establish a base of operations (area TBD) and begin operations according to the operations timeline by accepting and accomplishing missions and objectives as provided by Senior Command. \n\n\n\nEach army will be color coded for identification and consist of designated personnel discussed later in this briefing. \n\n\n\nMessages from the front: \n\n\n\nFirst order of business; THERE ARE NO ONLINE TICKETS TO ATTEND. \n\n\n\nCZ Recognizes the victors of last year’s battle as the Purple Team from URA. Will they repeat or fall victim \n\n\n\nThere is a lot of information to share with you so please take the time read and understand some of the finer details you are about to be faced with… \n\n\n\nThe following information is vital to each team’s success \n\n\n\nTIMELINE \n\n\n\n0800-0930       Check in \n\n\n\nPlayers Check in/ final gear prep \n\n\n\n\nPlayer recommended gear listUniform or clothing item to identify the team you are representing4 – 6 arm cloth bands to be used for medic situationsRadio (Reminder – Motorola will not be compatible with Baofeng. Plan accordingly)Writing pad and writing utensil (Crayons are for eating). Marker board is good too for planning and notesChair/table/Popup/tarp to use for your gear in HQWater or coolerBug Spray / DefogDead rag / Barrel Cover\n\nGood attitude\n\n\n\n\n\n\n0930-1000      Briefing and Team Assignments \n\n\n\n\nPlayers will be given the 5 minute warning to the briefing with a airhorn blast.\n\n\n\nPlayers will assemble in the upper staging area for briefing and start.Team starting points will be a random draw\n\nSpecial rules and announcements \n\n\n\n\n\n\n1000-1030  Chrono/Movement to Starting Points \n\n\n\nPlayers will be chrono’d as they enter the field. See CZ Policies for chrono ratings and special rules not provided in this document. Every time a player enters the field with a weapon it WILL be chrono’d\, tagged and sealed.   \n\n\n\n\nPlayers may chose to pre-stage gear and chrono in advance to start. There will be a space along the entry trail to place gear and weapons ahead of time.\n\n\n\nThere will be multiple stations to get players on the field quickly.\n\n\n\nLine 1 AEGs\n\n\n\nLine 2 HPA\, MG class\n\n\n\nLine 3 Sniper and DMR Class\n\n\n\n\n\nYou must have the following items (as required) to complete the Chrono Station:Wristband\, EyePro\, Dead Rag\, Barrel Sock\, HPA Tourni-Lock and Gun(s)\n\nChrono station will issue MED rating sticker for guns for MED as noted at\n\n\n\n\n\n\n CZ’s Field Safety and Rules | CZ Airsoft.  Stickers will identify gun type\, ammo tested by\, MED and joules rating \n\n\n\nRegulator seal will be used to prevent further adjustments once chrono approved \n\n\n\nAt 1030 the game will start regardless of a players or Teams position on the field. Players need to be ready to move out after briefing. \n\n\n\n\nAMMO and GUN RestrictionsAll guns will need to be chrono’d prior to entering field. Anyone missing the open window must notify the shop personnel.  All guns will be marked with a sticker that identifies their FPS/J rating so that officials in game play can spot check players randomly throughout the day. ALL ammo rules are listed on the CZ Airsoft Policy Page or at the Chrono station.Machinegun rules are in effect for this game. All guns with ammo capacities or capability over 1000+ rounds are considered a crew served weapon. Crew served means it takes two players to operate and maneuver when this weapon system is in play. Should one of the MG team go down the weapon is either stationary or is out of play at that time. As this is a two-person element\, when one player goes down the other may protect during the bleed out period for a medic to revive. If another player arrives to assist the MG team may move as a unit once again.NO MAG DUMPING! Mag dumping is an automatic kill that is enacted by any ref.Mag Dumping is defined as pulling your trigger and shooting your bbs in one or two VERY long continuous bursts at a single target or area. It does not work like that in combat – nor here.Rifles are to use controlled bursts of 3-5 rounds.SMG and LMG teams are to use 5-10 round bursts and work as a 2-man team.\n\nGun hits count as a hit and you are out unless you have a side arm and you may continue with the sidearm only.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll ammo over .42 must be cleared with CZ Staff prior to chrono. \n\n\n\n1015-1030 Briefing and deployment \n\n\n\n                At the briefing signal players will assemble in designated area. Briefing will consist of: \n\n\n\n\nSafetyBarrel Socks / Safety On/ Mags out required in all off field areasNo shooting in any off field area\, parking lot or staging areaALL weapons will be checked and marked prior to entering the fieldEyePro to remain on while on the field unless you are in a designated safety area\, Respawn point or have been directed to remove by field officialsThere is no blind firing anywhere. If you blind fire your target is unaffected and you as the offender will be marked as dead on the scene and must go to respawn. Blind fire is defined as any point that your head is not even or above your barrel while firing. If seen by a Ref you will be auto killed and must respawn. There is no shooting through obstacles smaller than your head.  This works for both incoming and outgoing.NO MAG DUMPING (AMMO and GUN Restriction)It is single fire only within any building or structure that has more than three exterior wallsAll buildings or structures having more than three walls have a simulated roof to them and grenades are of no effect.  Walls that are in support of a interior structure are not considered to have roofs.  Any time you “exit the game” to refer a situation to any official players will reenter the game via their respawn point.Hit CallingKeep in mind that this is a medic rule game and players may experience more than their share of being hit while in a bleed out period. Hence the importance of having a DEAD RAG out for everyone to see on you to notify players you are down and of the game.A hit is a hit is a hit. If in doubt call it out and if the bb comes so close to offend your feelings you need to consider yourself hit.If in doubt\, whip it out.. your dead rag that isSafety kills are highly encouraged at all times but the recipient does not have to accept and may attempt to escape. If the players are within 15 feet of each other it is single fire only and only to the back and chest.Hit calling is always an issue and if a player reports a hit calling issue they must be able to identify the opposing player with more than they are camouflaged and have a mask.\n\nIssues and Disputes\n\nIf a player has an issue or dispute to any player / official/ rule or is in general disposition they are encouraged to attempt in resolving this matter in a peaceful manner. Should this not be possible or the issue is of a more serious nature they may take it to their team’s field Marshal (CO) who will in turn take it to a CZ staff member for resolution.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTeaming and associate treatiesTHERE ARE NO ALLIANCES or TREATIES for the morning session. Each Team/Army is set out as they are established on the field. (if you start off with less than 10 in your team and there are no walk-ons or conscriptions\, your team will only have to work that much harder to accomplish the tasks at hand). During the mid-day break an assessment will be made of the teams if there needs to be a culling or alliance presented to assist in the outcome of the day. If an alliance is made the recorded scores of both teams will be evaluated and tallied as only one mission/objective accomplished per team. Alliances or augmentations will not get credit for the same missions.  \n\n\n\n\n\nRespawnAfter you have been hit and “bled out” for 5 minutes dead players are to return to their respawn point and enjoy another 5 minute break once you are inside the respawn area. at the Orange Respawn Marker. Not Team Boundary.  These areas are non-combative and may not be fired from or into.  Areas will be marked with an orange flag in the outer perimeter   All HQ and Respawn points will maintain a 150ft safety zone parameter. Violators are subject to disciplinary action of an  “In Game Suspension” to be determined and set by a CZ official  or Field Marshal at time of infraction. All players will must pay attention to any verbal warning of areas they be in as a safety area and cease current actions or turn around. Enemy forces may traverse through any HQ or respawn point in route to another point but may not stop until past. Enemy forces are not to camp a respawn point and must allow players to exit the 150ft safety barrier. If your Tag is captured you are unable to respawn until a new one has been provided. If no tags are available in the HQ/Respawn area contact CMD or a Ref to provide.\n\n\n\n\n\nLeaders assemble to draw field position/HQ Respawn points\n\nTo ensure fairness and allow for blind fate a random a blind draw to determine who will draw first and then for positions will be initiated:\n\nYellow\, Blue\, GreenG6 – Back Trail HutC7 – Sniper Trail NookA12 – Low Pond Ridge\n\nF14 – Switch bases with another team\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEach CO will be handed a packet. This is your signal that your day has begun.\n\nEach team is responsible to either read aloud or pass this information to their team. Instructions to follow… READ CLEARLY \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGame special rules\n\n\n\n\n\nMedics/Medic RulesWhen a player is hit they are considered wounded and will Any player can be a medic so long as they either use their own medic bands or the player being recovered used theirs for the medic to use. Medic bands\, are applied to the wounded before they “bleed out at two minutes. Once a person comes to provide help the clock starts again for 2 minutes to get it done. Once the task is compelte and the band applied get back ino the fight. If the bleed out occurs and the player is out they return to their HQ and respawn in 5 minutes. If a player has no arm band they will sit for the two minutes and bleed out then reutn to HQ to respawn. Players must have at least one band to return to be treated game. Players when hit may call out for a medic to assist. Players may not self terminate. During this two minutes if a player is struck again they are considered dead and must return to their respawn point. They may not be captured at this time. Players during this two minute period may be captured by an opposing player by having their body tag removed Removal of a body tag kills a player immediately. Having their tag removed the player must return to HQ to receive a new tag from as ref. If no tags are available contact CMD or a Ref and it will be brought to HQ location.  MEDIC RULES: Clarification EACH TEAM MEMBER will have at least one white band in their possession to be revived. These will be utilized when another player comes to revive you on the battlefield by applying it\, you are revived and back into the game. Loss of your tag is instant death. Bleed out is 2 minutes/ 2nd shot (not from same volley) kills player during bleed out.  Medics can simulate a body drag if they have both hands on a player to provide better cover. Body tags are yellow and worth points.\n\n\n\n\n\nRadio Frequencies\n\n\n\n\nThe COMMAND Freq is only for CO’s and is not a public access channel. Teams are not to use this to communicate with each other. If you are on it you will be told to get off it. Should this become a problem Command will issue a warning and if that is ignored will penalize the offending team and turn this frequency off and switch to another. This alternate frequency will be delivered via messenger to your command area with instructions. \n\n\n\nIf you need assistance in programming your frequencies either the staff or many others on your team should be able to assist. We will not be programming any channels for this event. \n\n\n\nSafety Net is 436.975 and should only be used for a real emergency situation requiring staff/medical assistance. This is not an open channel to communicate on. \n\n\n\n\nEach team may use their own frequency or one that is preprogrammed with the base frequency. This radio is not for general traffic but for Command traffic only. Violators will be told to get off and repeated offences will shut down the frequencyTeams may use alternate frequencies to internal communications. No scanning or freq searching is permitted\n\nPlayers are reminded to only use radios to pass immediate traffic and to not tie up the net with repeated messages or chatter. If you need to chat use your phone or another frequency not used by the team as a whole.\n\nAlternate frequencies are suggested should a primary be compromised.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n1030-1330 Crusader IX -Stage 1 \n\n\n\n\nPlayers once through chrono will proceed to their HQ areas.\n\n\n\nThe moment your team received this packet your day began.Teams can opt to ABORT a mission after it has started and gone on for 10 minutes. This will incur 20-point penalty for doing so.Teams may ABORT 1 Mission before and After Lunch only.\n\nTeams might fail a mission for not meeting the conditions of the mission. So long as CMD has acknowledged the start of the mission they will be awarded 1 point upon a fail.No point will be granted if the mission was abandoned or never got CMD’s acknowledgment.CMD will either provide a code or a timestamp to missions Mission completion position:Missions will have points assigned to them when accomplished. Objectives: (ends when the mission is over)Each awarded as 3 points unless otherwise specified plus the any ancillary point values accumulated\n\nBody Tags:\n\n Commander tag: 10 points\, Medic tag 5 points\, Player tag 3 points\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGame Play – The stuff you really want to know and pay attention to \n\n\n\n\nMissions\n\n\n\n\nPLEASE DO NOT TAMPER WITH PROPS OR TAKE ANYTHING NOT DESIGNATED FOR YOU TO TAKE \n\n\n\nEach team will receive their first mission with 2 objectives. Once these have been accomplished a second mission will be given to the team at regular intervals until the end of the first session at 1330hrs.  \n\n\n\nWARNING! At 1330 (2 HORN BLASTS) MISSIONS WILL END FOR THE MIDDAY BREAK. \n\n\n\nWARNING!  ALL MISSIONS WILL HALT AT 1530 \n\n\n\nEach session will have 2 to 3 missions to complete. Each with side objectives to complete. These objectives can be completed in any order the team commander deems but the over all mission must be completed to move to the next one. \n\n\n\nMissions and objectives might be timed or just required to complete before the Mission is completed.  Should your team find that they are unable to complete any mission this will be considered an ABORT. A point penalty will be issued and a new mission will be assigned at the team HQ at the timed interval. All objectives associated with the failed mission that have not been completed will be deducted and those completed will be added to the team total. \n\n\n\nDO NOT LOSE THE MISSION CARD \n\n\n\nYou can also take a snap shot of the card to relay to your CO or call it in over your team frequency. Without the card the Team Runner will receive point penalty to receive the next mission. (-10 points). \n\n\n\nRefs are not COMMAND but some missions or objectives may require you to find a ref. These occurrences allow the CO to contact Command and have a ref deploy to their position. \n\n\n\n\nObjectives: Each mission will have at least 1 objective to coincide with it. These are not mandatory to complete but optional.\n\nWhen your mission is completed Command will confirm either by radio or visual verification of a field rep. Point structures will be explained on the mission card.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n1330-1415 Chow/Safety Stand Down \n\n\n\n\nChow Break will be sounded via two horn blasts and radio comms for mandatory 30 minute stand down.\n\n\n\nPlayers may re-enter operations from their HQ /respawn point when their CO has confirmed with Command. After 1415 hrs\, players enter automatically and return to their HQ to begin. \n\n\n\nIf a player is carrying a weapon it WILL be chrono’s again to get back on the field\n\n\n\n\n1415-1600 Resume Crusader \n\n\n\n\nPlayers may re-enter operations from their HQ /respawn point.\n\n\n\nIf a player is carrying a weapon it WILL be chrono’s again to get back on the field\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n1530 EndEx \n\n\n\n\nEndEx will be sounded by three horn blasts and via radio comms. All players to proceed to staging area for results and end of day activities\n\n\n\n\n1600 Briefing/ Results and Raffles \n\n\n\n\nResults will be tallied for each of the 5 armies. Results are based on:Number of missions completedNumber of objectives completed\n\nNumber of player tags collected\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTeam Colors: GREEN  BLUE   YELLOW Players should try and wear the colors of the team they are representing. This will make team identification that much easier.  Don’t forget to have your two white bands of cloth to use as medic bands.    \n\n\n\nThe most important special instructions for this event is the simplest of them all. Come and have fun. This is just a silly game and at the end of the day we here at CZ want to know you have had a great day. \n\n\n\nIf you have any problems or issues in the day take a minute to find a ref or go to COMMAND and let us know. We will do our best to help you or get a matter resolved.
